This is a new funding opportunity through IDOT that was just announced and an accompanying webinar series that will be hosted by the Active Transportation Alliance and Illinois Public Health Institute.
Safe Routes to Schools (SRTS) grant funding opens on August 16 through September 30, 2021. The program funds projects that improve conditions for walking and biking within 2-miles of an elementary or middle school. We will be hosting two webinars – one to review the program guidelines and walk you through the application and another for open Q&A.
